Thao Nghiem has a passion for music business, cultural development, and community building. She is the Founding and Executive Director of the Vietnam Music Industry Network (VMIN), host of the annual Vietnam Music Week (VMW) music conference and showcases in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. At the same time, she is also working as the Marketing Manager at Small World Music, host of the annual Global Toronto Music Festival in Toronto, Canada.
Her professional work includes The OMAs regional music award show, NPTmusic Vietnamese music show promoter, Label Licensing and Royalties Liaison at the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency, and Associate Brand Manager at Unilever Vietnam. A Music Business Administration graduate of Durham College, she also holds a Professional Communications B.A. from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University.
