Elen is a lecturer in the School of Welsh at Cardiff University. Her main research interest is regarding the relationship between literature and other media, including literature and music, popular media, and social media.
She is at FOCUS as part of a research project, Prosiect Pūtahitanga, which is researching the use of Cymraeg (the Welsh language) and te reo Māori (the Māori langauge) in popular music.
