Since the beginning, post-punk noise band W!ZARD have been giving stages a buzz, known and recognized as much for their explosiveness as for their anger. In June 2021, W!ZARD took things up a notch with their EP “Definitely Unfinished”: five tracks that quickly won over the independant press, propelling them on the roads of France and its neighbouring countries for some sixty dates, sharing evenings with METZ, Last Train, the Psychotic Monks and Birds in Row.
It has to be said, though, that it is on stage that the band has truly cemented its reputation, offering a sincere, hard-hitting and staggering experience. The year 2024 promises to be even more intense for the Aquitaine trio, with the release of their first full-length, “Not Good Enough”, due to be released during the Spring of next year: this new opus captures all the band’s signature raw energy, while exploring new horizons straight from across the Channel. Expect to be overwhelmed by a mass of emotions and a deluge of sound.
