Richard is Head of Programme at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall with responsibility for both the main hall (1600 cap) and the 250 capacity Music Room (200 seated 250 standing). Previously Director of The Met Arts Centre, Bury, Phoenix Arts Leicester, and De Montfort Hall Leicester and founding Co-Director of both the Summer Sundae Weekender, The Big Session Festival.
He also an non Executive Director of Sound Roots/English Folk Expo, Music Beyond Mainstream, British Association of Concert Halls and Big Difference Productions.
