Immy Doman co-founded Green Note music venue in London in 2005. Green Note is now world-renowned, winning multiple awards and has become known as one of London’s top spots for folk and roots music, hosting both local and touring artists. The intimate venue hosts gigs every night of the week, ranging from folk, Americana and country to blues, roots, world, jazz and singer-songwriters. Immy continues to manage the venue, book acts and curate the programme, so has built an extensive range of contacts in the music industry, in particular with artists, booking agents and other industry professionals, both in the UK and internationally.

After some years running the venue and building strong relationships with artists, Immy and her business partner wanted to continue working with them, even when they outgrew their intimate space. This led to setting up “Green Note Promotions”, an independent promotions company that puts on regular gigs around London across various venues of differing sizes (from 50 to 1000 cap), as well as programming stages at festivals and other events. This allowed them to retain relationships with artists, whilst helping them grow to the next level.

Immy is also co-founder of independent record label Aveline Records & has mentored and managed various artists over the years. She is currently managing London-based singer-songwriter, Michele Stodart, who recently won ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Artist of the Year’ awards at the 2024 UK Americana Awards.

In 2019 Immy was awarded the ‘Grassroots Award’ at the UK Americana Awards for her ‘outstanding contribution to the London music scene’.
