Eluned, a fluent Welsh speaker, is Head of Wales Arts International (WAI) at the Arts Council of Wales and was Host Director for WOMEX 2013 in Cardiff. She manages a programme and funding supporting artists to engage internationally, and spearheads Gwrando, a programme in Wales that promotes listening and learning from indigenous languages and wisdom. WAI led on Showcase Scotland Spotlight Cymru 2023 and are arts partners for the Welsh Government, British Council and international campaigns such as Wales in France 2023 and Canada Goes Cymru. Eluned’s strong belief in the Well-being of Future Generations Act aligns with Wales’ commitment to the UN Global Goals.
