Dyatlov is a project that was born at the beginning of 2021 in La Laguna / Tenerife by musical concerns based on electronics. Carlos and Deborah make up this duo, self-reinforcing by “do it yourself” with lyrics that speak of global malaise using cold and abrasive dark electronica as a bridge in which a wink is made to the revolutionary poet Vladimir Mayakovski, for the identification in the contents of his work and with the intention of divulging a bit of his thought.
The environments that are recreated are not alien to the current situation. If the texts narrate global malaise, the atmospheres offer a modicum of hope, if not in regeneration, at least in the ability we have to write our epitaph.
Sounds that run from electropunk, drone, ambient, industrial, synthwave, trance, synthwave, more classic electronica standing out on combative lyrics.
The name alludes to the incident and controversial Dyatlov Pass in Russia. To date they have published two recordings under the label Los80 Pasan Factura in CD/k7/Vinyl format. In direct is where you can best experience the anger and the message they convey, for this they have a staging with visuals and performance.
They have gone through festivals and venues such as MantaFest, Festivalito Sonora, Fiestapresentación Arrecife en Vivo, Festival Rock and Books, PadarteRock, Aguere Cultural, Equipo Para, Asociación Atlas, sharing the stage with artists such as Belako, MelOmana, Bejo, Las Ratas among others.
